Hey everyone tomorrow I will be flying out to Chicago to meet Calabash on Wed and I am so exited. I hope that I have the chance to work with these guys they have a lot of great work. Also, I spoke with Zar through email and she had a suggestion for me. She thought that I should do more anatomy based Character art so I went down to the local coffee/book store and started sketching. This drawing of my friend Brittany and this girl were some of the designs I liked the most. As always thanks for looking and I will keep everyone updated on Calabash.

This is my first attempt at an entry to Austin Madison's Chades Challenge. I Figure since I am done with school this is something i can do to stay creative. You guys should really check out his blog it is very cool and the character challenges always look great. Anyway my guilty insomniac is a bear skipping hibernation to spend his winter watching movie marathons wired on coffee! I got mine in a day late so i expect it to be a couple days before it gets posted with the rest. Until then hang tight and as always Thanks for looking.

So one of my goals coming out of college is working on my environments. So aside from working on finishing this side up i decided to devote some time to creating some new pieces. This is an image I thought up while watching the karate kid. I had lots of fun painting this picture and enjoyed looking for a color palette that made things look wet. Well everyone enjoy and go see Karate Kid it is so sweet!

This is the finished stop motion puppet created for the animated feature created by me and Scott Vanarsdale. This puppet includes a resin head, and a foam latex body. Balanced to stand on its own which was a plus after finishing the puppet on the Friday before the last week it was a long hall for scott to finish the three stop motion scenes need to complete the film but he finished right in the nick of time. I hope you enjoy and stay posted for updates coming soon.
